5 Websites to Test Random Skills

If you're out of the school system, you're probably sick at the thought of taking a test. But now that there's no pressure with grades and terror teachers, it's fun to take a test or two to see how good you are at skills that you've never even considered. When you've got some free time in your hands, saunter over to these sites and test yourself!

How good are you at...

...telling notes apart?

Your friends might be too shy to really judge your singing during Karaoke Night, but this nifty test can help identify if you're tone deaf. Simply identify whether the two notes presented are the same or different. Okay, it's not gonna tell if you're going to pass an audition, but it's handy to know if you can differentiate your notes.

...drawing under 20 seconds?

You know when people say, "I can't draw even if my life depended on it?" Well, here's a way to test that (just not so extreme). This website doesn't exactly tells you if you're in the running to be the next Picasso -- rather, it tests how well you can illustrate things simply under a 20 second time limit. It's a fun way to exercise your drawing skills with a mouse!

...recalling words?

Here's where all those highfalutin words that you've learned in English class will come in handy! Yeah, you can communicate in English, but just how many words do you actually know in the English language? Just tick the words that you know you can define, and this site will tell approximately how many words you have in your word bank. Don't cheat by Googling the words!

...typing?

Not to brag but *brushes shoulders* I'm a pretty fast typist. If you're not, it's a pretty handy skill to have in a very fast-paced world. I like to practice by doing a typing test or two in my spare time. Typing tests are a dime a dozen, but I'm partial to this site because of the clean aesthetic.

...telling colors apart?

Do you know your chartreuse from your turquoise? I don't either, but I'm quite good at telling apart colors that are in similar hues. If you're not a graphic designer, it's a pretty handy skill to develop. If you're not, it's still fun to compare scores with your friends. By the way, the highest score for this game is 0, so you should actually aim for a lower score.
